Program

This new Akron Public School when completely implemented will accommodate approximately 500 students, grades 5-8. The school will serve students of all ability levels from within Akron Public Schools and beyond. Students will enroll via the district open enrollment policy, with limited seats available for students beyond Akron Public Schools.
The Partners decided to begin with a STEM middle school to influence students’ aspirations and ensure preparedness of students to take advanced science, engineering and mathematics coursework. Preparing all students for their futures means assuring all students have the knowledge and skills necessary to make choices for their further training and education.
