Student Admission Process and Calendar

Completed Admissions Process
- Completed application submitted.(including parent/guardian and student written responses)
- If there are more qualified students than openings, admission is granted through a lottery process.
- Students will be notified of admission status.
- Admitted students and at least one parent/guardian or adult advocate must attend a required meeting to remain eligible
- After attending the required meeting, family must notify district in writing of their decision to accept or decline the admission offer. No response will be considered a declination of the offer.
- Student and at least one parent/guardian must attend an orientation session and sign all necessary agreements and forms.
***Failure to complete all admission requirements may result in removal of student from the enrollment roster***

January Applications reviewed, those eligible enter lottery*
February Admittance status letters sent to student indicating admitted, not admitted

*School year 2009-2010, the National Inventors Hall of Fame School...Center for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Learning will begin with around 50 fifth grade students and around 50 sixth grade students.
